The Sanderlings are Back!
It’s not that they ever completely leave but, there are less of them in the summer. I love watching them chase the waves out as they pick up their morning breakfast of sand crabs. Right now there are scatterings of the birds but, as we get into winter there will be hundreds and hundreds of them and they are so wonderful to watch!
